Suggestions for general practice

Seek out unscripted TV and radio interviews, listen out for one Meta Model pattern. The first step is to be able to recognise the patterns, the second step is to be able to track them in a real time conversation, the third step is to be able to use them. With an interview you don’t have to pay attention to the content or interact with the person and with a TV interview, you can correlate language with gestures.

In particular, the Audio section includes the audio recordings that I use during NLP Master Practitioner training, from ‘Listening’ through to ‘Snowflakes’.

You can also use the practice statements on the next few pages, these are actual statements taken from emails, social media and clients. You might begin by picking out the Meta Model patterns that you recognise before decoding any other meanings hidden within the statement.

I haven’t always been the smartest or skilled. But I’ve been the most determined.

I discovered NLP 6 years ago through word of mouth, at 1st thought this was some sort of ‘cult’/’woo-woo’ stuff that wouldn’t work.

In our last session you encouraged me to focus on my vision. That was quite a homework assignment and I finally feel I have made some good progress on that.
